Orientation Day

There is great emphasis on the transition of students from Primary School into Year 7 at St Brendan-Shaw College. Our school continually strives to ensure all students commencing at our school are given the best start.

An orientation day for studenst who begin Year 7 the following year is held late November or early in December and offers students an opportunity to spend a full school day at the College. Students have the opportunity to meet core teachers and fellow peers, reflect in the College Chapel, participate in a variety of lessons, and enjoy an entertaining concert from the Performing Arts students. Parents who believe their child requires additional support can participate in a number of visits, generally during Term 4, to aid transition. Please contact the Caritas Reception for more information.
