Employment opportunities are generally advertised on the College website, The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office website, teachers.on.net, and local print media. Applicants for teaching positions must be registered as a teacher with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board or be able to obtain registration prior to their employment commencement date. From the commencement of 2017, teachers must also hold Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
Applicants for other positions: Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) require the successful candidate to hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (prior to employment) and a National Police Criminal History Check.
Responses should include a cover letter, application form, response to selection criteria, certified copies of qualifications and resume. Enquiries can be directed to the College's HR Coordinator on 64 247622. Employment conditions are as per the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement (2015).
If a teacher wishes to be added to the Relief Teaching register they will need to satisfy the same conditions of registration (TRB and WWVP) and can submit a copy of their resume to the College. Resumes are normally retained for a period of 12 months.
